7:00pm & 9:00pm - Friday Recreational - Open Sign up
This league is arguably the most social of the OCC league roster and is perfect for anyone from Novice to Veteran alike.
Teams rosters can encompass up to 8 people per team with any combination of 4 on the ice at any given time. This allows for a more social atmosphere, an option to try different positions throughout the season (or even the game), and the ability to be flexible from a schedule perspective.
This league is perfect for colleagues, friends, couples, etc to get out and kick off the weekend together. For individuals and couples looking for a team, just note your search in the comment section and we will match you up with a curling family. If you know your team roster, please state that in the comment section as well.
In the interest of FUN, we will have on-ice music, post game activities, and the odd drink special as well.
9:30am - 12:00pm Sunday East/West League
This Associate League plays Sunday mornings and is a fun and social league from novice to experienced curlers. This league is a great league for new curlers to learn from experienced curlers and for experienced curlers to hone their skills. A wine draw is held each week we play and there are weekly prizes for the best team each week.
In this league you are placed onto a team strategically so that new curlers are paired with experienced curlers and that teams are more or less balanced. You play with that team throughout the entire year. We run in a competitive format (keeping score, divisions, and prize money!!!) but the group of people are not very competitive. We like to go out learn the game and have fun (with some small stakes).
This league typically plays every OTHER week. At times we have to curl two weeks in a row. This is something that can be discussed as we do have the ice every week. In previous years, those "off" weeks are used as practice ice/scrim games within the league. If the league were to grow we could use those days as "tag" days. Where we draw new teams just for that day.
We also organize two fun socials a year for our league to get together, enjoy some great food, drinks and laughs. One is in the summer where we announce winners and get to see each other between seasons. The other is at the end of the year before Winter break where we get together to celebrate the Holidays!
Note: An additional league fee is asked to fund prize money, social events and weekly prizes (All members, no matter where they place, receive some money back as prize money).
For more information, please contact the league convenor below.

6:00pm - 8:00pm Sunday Evening - Doubles
DOUBLES
This is a dedicated "mixed doubles" format without the "mixed" focus specifically. This allows us to be flexible and respectful of all combinations of teams while we try to accustom curlers to this ever-growing style of play. This is not a league for brand new beginners but for those who have at least curled for a couple of years. This year it will be a round robin format with a predermined schedule so you will know who you are playing each week. This is not a drop in league.
Entry is typically by team but we will do our utmost to accommodate individuals, where possible.
Games are played Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 pm - 8 end games
